this summer its all about showing what you have got  , these  amazing swimming suits will have eyes following you everywhere you go .

We are only in May but with the gorgeous weather we've been having the past few days it's hard not to daydream about those hot summer days at the beach or pool.The plus size clothing stores( big stores and indie designers) have been at work this year to bring us the cutest swimsuits ever. As a plus size woman I still have insecurities when it comes to wearing swimsuit especially if it's a 2 piece. Gosh ! The last time I wore a 2 piece swimsuits was probably in 2004 before having kids .This year I am just so tempted to go there again because although I have some insecurities I am a lot more confident now and i've learned to shop better for my body type.If you are like me you might probably change your mind after seeing these too. The options are just endless these days you can buy plus size swimsuits from , Walmart , Evans, Forever 21 , Rue 107,Addition Elle , Monif C , Ahsley Stewart, Macy's , Ebay  to name a few. So here are some of my favorite of the season.

Style note: If you are buying swimsuits online make sure you check the description properly because the bras support makes a huge difference.

ASHLEY STEWART: has a great collection of swimwear with Wild animal prints , Sexy off shoulders ,and playful skirts ( took that right off their site ). They go up to size 24.

EVANS:  I am all here from the retro chic swimsuits.Evans has a great collection of swimdresses, swim skirts and covers. They go up to size 28.

FOREVER 21+:  They really brought it up this year.  I am still debating myself about which one to get between these two. Love the prints and they are affordable. BTW these are still not available in Canada. They go up to 3x.

RUE107 : Rue107 blends vintage-inspired styles, bold hues and feminine silhouettes to create contemporary designs that celebrate every woman’s uniqueness. Rue 107 is a small indie designer and they just launched their plus size collection. They go up  to 4x.

ADDITION ELLE: I love Addition Elle because they are local, so you can just stop by anytime and try out their  tropical prints and flirty florals swimsuits. They go up to size 24.

MODCLOTH: has some beautiful retro style swimsuits. This red and white is everything. They go up to 4x.

NAKIMULI: is one my favorite indie designers out there. She makes beautiful pieces for funky girls. Most of her items are limited , so if you like it you better grab it asap before it's gone. They go up to 3x.

MONIF C.: This Guide could not be completed without adding one of the best in the plus size industry. Monif C. makes beautiful swimsuits. Her prints are amazing and I have a soft side for the 2 pieces. They go up to 24.

GABIFRESH FOR SWIMSUITSFORALL  When Gabi from Gabifresh.com announced that she was working on a "FATKINI" collection with swimsuits for all I was so happy because knew it will be a fun collection. They go up to size 24.

EMPRESS LINGERIE:  launched September 2012, has introduced a fabulous new line of lingerie and swimwear to the plus size market. Their Bliss collection is designed to flatter and accentuate feminine curves; and both our lingerie and swimwear pieces are beautiful, sensual and vintage inspired, perfect for a dreamy wedding night or a romantic honeymoon. I love this little animal print number above. They go up to size 28.
